Did you know that every year in the US, 23,000 children “age out” of the foster care system.

ome instantly homeless as they have no place to go and nothing lined up.
Of those who age out of the foster care system, 50% will be homeless at least one time before they turn 26.
Of those who age out, only 50% will have gainful employment by the time they turn 24.
Of the girls who age out, 70% will become pregnant before they turn 21.
These are young people who have not been given the same opportunities that you and I have been given. These are people who never had a chance to grow up.
These numbers are unacceptable, and we plan to change them.
